Washington, D.C. This 160-bed residence hall for MSSD accommodates both boys and girls in a shared facility. Conceived as a “home away from home,” the building consists of two wings connected by a single-story entrance lobby. The interior features warm materials, comfortable furnishings, and abundant natural light. Designed according to the principles of DeafSpace, the residence supports visual communication and spatial awareness, creating an environment attuned to the needs of deaf and hard-of-hearing students.
