Portland, OR Forest Park is a major Portland landmark that provides habitat for over 180 species of birds and mammals, offers Portlanders respite from the bustling city, and serves as an outdoor classroom for environmental education and research. This visitor center was conceived to provide a new entry point to the park with exhibits and programs designed to educate visitors about stewardship, the Park’s rich ecology, its network of trails, and its history.
